Eating out in Killarney is likely to be one of the highlights of your trip. With all the restaurants in both New Street and High Street, you will be spoiled for choice! Naturally, being on the coast, Kerry is famous for its wonderful seafood. You won't have any problem finding restaurants that cater for both traditional and contemporary Irish cuisine, neither will you be disappointed!

Things To See And Do
Kerry is one of the most beautiful counties in Ireland and there is plenty to see and do here. Why not rent a car and explore the spectacular coastline? Visit Dingle to see if you can spot Funghi the Dolphin, take a jaunting carriage up to the breathtaking Gap of Dunloe or spend an afternoon in the beautiful grounds of Muckross House and Gardens.

In an ideal location directly opposite Christ the Prince of Peace Church, fossa caravan park is located just a five minute drive from Killarney town centre.
Situated in the centre of the town this is a small, family run cosy cottage style hostel ideal for those on a budget. You can book your accomodation by following the information on their website. You do need to reserve accomodation and dorm beds are €15 per person per night or if you would like more privacy, there is a twin room available for €17.50 per person per night.

Situated in the heart of downtown Killarney, this hotel is more suited to the young as it is surrounded by bars....with one on either side next door! The hotel rates for 2007 are not yet available however rates for 2006 are as follows for June:

On the doorstep of the Killarney National Park, home to Muckross House and Gardens and the famous lakes of Killarney, this hotel could not be more ideally located. Within a stones throw of the town centre, what you see is what you get with the Holiday Inn. The venue for the wedding reception, this hotel overlooks the beautiful Gap of Dunloe. The hotel grounds are extensive and set in 64 acres of park land which lead to the ruins of the castle itself.
